Tanja is a 29 year old local with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and is on her way to getting her master’s degree in Project Management. Ever since she was a kid she has been incredibly fascinated by the vast Icelandic landscape. She has always loved the outdoors and she’s at her happiest exploring with her 2 kids and fiancee, Sverrir. Tanja knows every nook and cranny in Iceland and she thinks this connection to nature is why she decided to study tourism. She loves to share her passion with people from around the world and help them get the most out of their experience here in Iceland.

Sverrir was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland. He’s a 29 year old Medical Doctor and landscape photographer, engaged to Tanja Sól and a father to 2 wonderful children, Emil and Erna. Sverrir started his photography career in 2017 and his feature site @lost.in.iceland in December 2018 to inspire Icelandic wanderlust and to help photographers like him get their stories out into the world. He has such a huge appreciation for the unique landscape we’re all incredibly connected to here in Iceland while doing his best to spread it out into the world. The @lost.in.iceland community has grown so rapidly proving that people from all over the world have so much love for this small and beautiful island.
