Grjótagjá is a small lava cave famous for featuring a beautiful geothermal hot spring in its depths. It was a popular bathing place at one time but unfortunately it can’t be entered nowadays because geological activity caused the temperature of the water to rise to 40+ °C (104+ F). Grjótagjá was also used as a filming location in Game Of Thrones. Comment below if you know which scene was shot here!
