Most people miss this beautiful waterfall because it’s kind of hidden! At first it doesn’t look like much but there is a small accessible cave to the right of the waterfall. From there you’ll get a fantastic shot if you are into photography.
How to get there: Skútafoss is located a bit from the ring road, you’ll take a left turn around 7 km after you exit the tunnel (Almannaskarðsgöng). Then just follow the stream until you reach a parking spot. From there you have to walk a short distance to reach the waterfall.
